We want your Amazing Fireworks Video!

It's one thing to read about fireworks but nothing compares to watching them.  Help us make The Fireworks Channel a site for the best fireworks videos online by submitting your best fireworks clips.  We will post them for all the world to see.

Here is what we are looking for:

• Above all high quality fireworks footage with great looking shots. So really learn how to use your camera when shooting fireworks. If the clip is edited the better. Shaky footage or out of focus shots we cannot use. So try the setting that will work the best and keep your images sharp by using manual focus. Shooting fireworks is not easy.  Believe me, even pros have a hard time getting good footage.

• If you are planning to shoot a fireworks show use a tripod and if possible a videocamera with 3 CCDs. That can make all the difference.

• Show us something interesting – we're looking for the beauty of fireworks, important fireworks events and competitions, high quality steady shots, a great fireworks show, a short interview with a master pyrotechnician, fireworks traditions that are unique to a specific country (e.g., fireworks wheels of Malta)

• Size: No more than 10 minutes long (100MB maximum)

Here's how to do it:

Create an account below. It's pretty quick and painless – just email address, password and screen name.

• Browse your computer to find your video file

• (We accept avi, QuickTime, 3gp, mpeg4, wmv, h.264, mpeg2, dv)

• Give your video a title

• Give your video a short description (location, date of fireworks display, type of fireworks, who designed the show

• Create a few "tags" or keywords to describe your video (i.e. maltese wheels, 8" shells, or something descriptive like "great fireworks show" or "fireworks competition"

• Upload your file

Once your file is uploaded The Fireworks Channel will review your clip and if everything looks OK will publish it on the site. It may take up to a day to get published, so please be patient.
